The Executive Edge

Frequently Asked Questions

The questions worth answering before you make another leadership decision.

The Executive Edge is not traditional executive coaching, a personality assessment or another leadership framework. It is a diagnostic approach designed to identify the biological, cognitive and structural constraints affecting your capacity to lead and scale.

If you are considering the Capacity Diagnostic or want to understand how the process works before booking, start here.

01

The Executive Edge

What it is, and how it is different from what you have already tried.

A leadership capacity diagnostic that identifies what is constraining a founder's ability to lead, decide, and scale, biologically, cognitively, and structurally, before any strategy work begins.

Built for founders of established businesses, typically $4M-$12M, where responsibility has outgrown what one person should be carrying. You will recognise it if decisions keep routing back to you, delegation has not reduced your load, or the business performs well but needs too much of you directly.

Those approaches work on behaviour and strategy. This works on what is underneath it.

If the real constraint is biological, cognitive, or structural, another framework just adds demand to a system already carrying too much. The work starts with measurement, not another set of tools.

02

The Capacity Diagnostic

The paid entry point, and the free fit call that comes before it.

The Capacity Diagnostic is the paid entry point: a 45-minute executive session, Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis, Meta Dynamics™ Profiling, and a private debrief. This is where the actual measurement happens, not a free preview, not a sample reading. HTMA and MDPT are lab-run and licensed assessments; they are part of what you are paying for, not something to sample first.

Before this, qualified applicants get a 20-minute fit call, free, short, purely to confirm this is the right starting point for your situation. It is not a diagnostic itself and it does not include HTMA or MDPT results. If it is not the right fit, you will be told directly, in that call.

You will leave the paid diagnostic with clarity on four things:

  • Your biological capacity
  • Your cognitive architecture under pressure
  • Your primary constraint
  • The first structural move

Not everything at once, just what changes first.

03

Biological & Cognitive Capacity

Why measurement starts with the body and the mind, not the behaviour.

Leadership is not performed independently of the system carrying it. Sustained decision load affects your nervous system and your cognitive patterns under pressure, the things producing the behaviour, not the behaviour itself.

Both are run as part of the paid Capacity Diagnostic, not a free preview.

HTMA (Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis) is a lab-run assessment reading roughly 90 days of biological data: mineral patterns, nervous-system load, depletion, recovery.

MDPT (Meta Dynamics™ Profiling) is a licensed diagnostic mapping cognitive patterns across 16 dimensions: how you process pressure, where thinking turns rigid, where bandwidth is being spent before you consciously choose to spend it.

Neither stands alone. They are read together with the structural realities of the business, because the constraints compound.

The portion of your total capability actually available for the decisions that move the business forward, not committed to unresolved decisions, monitoring standards, or compensating for structural gaps.

High capacity, low availability is the pattern. This is what the diagnostic locates.

04

Structure & Founder Dependency

Why delegation is the symptom, and decision architecture is the cause.

Delegation is what is visible. It is rarely the root cause. The real question is whether the organisation has the decision architecture to function without routing responsibility back to you, not whether tasks have technically been handed off.

Decision architecture means: which decisions are yours, which are not, who owns which outcomes, when something actually needs escalating. Without clear lines, capable people default to waiting on you, and the same capability that built the company becomes the bottleneck it now runs through.

05

Results & Expectations

The 90-day sprint, what moves inside it, and what is not promised.

The core work is a 90-day sprint. Three phases: diagnose and delegate, build trust under pressure, scale past the ceiling. Inside those 90 days, real delegation that holds, a team that stops routing every decision back to you, sleep and energy returning as the load actually lifts, not just as a side effect you hope for.

What happens after the 90 days depends entirely on what the sprint surfaces. For some founders that is team-facing work, training or facilitation for the people now holding real responsibility, so the delegation does not quietly slide back. For others it is continued 1:1 work on the founder specifically, where the constraint is still personal rather than structural. Sometimes it is both. The maintenance phase gets built around whichever gap is still open, not a generic follow-on curriculum applied regardless of what the 90 days revealed.

No guaranteed revenue outcome. This is diagnostic and implementation work; individual results depend on the business, the decisions made, and what gets implemented.

06

Working Together

Scope, teams, cost, and confidentiality.

Where maintenance work fits, it is scoped around what the sprint revealed, not a fixed package sold in advance. You are not obligated to continue past the 90 days; if nothing further is needed, that gets said plainly.

Not inside the core 90-day sprint, that is built around you, the founder, because the constraint usually starts there. But once the sprint is done, if what has surfaced is a team that needs training or facilitation to actually hold the responsibility being handed to them, that becomes its own layer of work, scoped separately, based on what the diagnostic and the 90 days actually revealed, not assumed upfront.

Not publicly priced. Scope gets established after the diagnostic, once the actual constraint is known, not before.

Yes, fully. Many clients operate under NDA. Diagnostics, debriefs, and results are handled with executive-level discretion throughout.

07

Fit

Whether this is right for you, the proof, and the ways in.

If the business is genuinely working but still runs through you, if "everything still comes back to me" is a thought you have had this month, that is the pattern this exists for.

One client hit $40K/mo in her first six months working with this approach. Another built from scratch, $2K/mo to almost $6K/mo, with her health and schedule intact alongside the growth.

Both are structural results, not motivational ones: the numbers moved because the constraint underneath them got identified and closed, not because of a pep talk.

Three ways in, depending on how ready you are:

  • Capacity Diagnostic Quiz, 12 questions, free, a first read on your pattern.
  • Entry Debrief Session, $600 USD, 90 minutes, MDPT only. A lower-commitment way to get real diagnostic data (your cognitive architecture across 16 dimensions) before deciding on the full Capacity Diagnostic. No HTMA at this tier.
  • Apply for the 20-minute fit call, if you already recognise the problem and want to move straight toward the full Capacity Diagnostic (45 min + HTMA + MDPT + debrief).

Section 08

Fit

This work is likely to be relevant when the business is objectively successful but the internal operating model still depends too heavily on you.

You may be at the right stage if you find yourself thinking:

Everything still comes back to me.

My team is capable, but I am still carrying too much.

I know what needs to change, but execution feels heavier than it should.

I perform well, but I don't recover the way I used to.

More strategy isn't solving this.

The business has grown, but my role hasn't evolved with it.

If that pattern is familiar, the diagnostic exists to identify what is actually producing it.

You have two places to start.

Option one

Take the Capacity Diagnostic Quiz

12 questions designed to identify which of five structural patterns may currently be limiting your next stage of growth.

Option two

Book the 45-Minute Capacity Diagnostic

If you already recognise the problem and want to examine it directly, you can begin with the diagnostic conversation.

Still Deciding?

You don't need another answer. You need to know which constraint is actually yours.

If important decisions still come back to you, your capacity is carrying what the organisation has not yet learned to carry.

The next step is not to work harder. It is to identify what is actually creating the constraint.
